Laura graduated from the University of Surrey with a First Class BMus (Hons) degree in Music.
In 2012 she released a concept album for her new musical, The In-Between, featuring performances by leading West End stars Sabrina Aloueche, Julie Atherton, Daniel Boys, Cassandra Compton, Hadley Fraser, Alexia Khadime, Dianne Pilkington, Lauren Samuels and Liam Tamne. The album is available to download from iTunes or as a CD from The In-Between's online store. Since the release, The In-Between has been featured on BBC Radio 2's Elaine Paige on Sunday, performed at West End Live in Trafalgar Square and received over 100,000 views on YouTube. 'Someone You'd Be Proud Of', a song from the show, was also shortlisted for the Stiles & Drewe Best New Song Prize.
Laura's first musical, Faerytale, was showcased by the Guildford School of Acting at the Electric Theatre. She has also written the music for Bill Kenwright's The Haunting, which originally starred Paul Nicholas and has recently completed its third UK tour.
Laura's latest release is a single called 'Roll', featuring the vocalist Jones. The song is now available from iTunes and the music video can be viewed here.
As an arranger and orchestrator, Laura has been Musical Associate for The Night of 1000 Voices (2010, 2012), Kerry Ellis and Brian May's Anthems: The Concert and The Wonderful World of Captain Beaky, with Vanessa Redgrave, Joanna Lumley and Hugh Bonneville; all at the Royal Albert Hall. She was also arranger/orchestrator for the Cantabile Christmas Cracker at the Prince of Wales Theatre.
Laura is currently working on the second draft of her debut novel, the first book in a planned trilogy.
